The Midwest is home to many plants that lend themselves readily for use as natural cordage which can be woven or braided. Some of our more destructive non-native invasive plants (such as bush honeysuckle) can be removed and used in this way. Learn the basics of making cordage, and work along with the weaving demonstration to make and take a small foraging basket home.
