Streetcar

Following a two mile long route, the Streetcar takes you from one end of downtown KC to the other, providing numerous destinations that are sure to catch your eye, whether you’re looking for a place to eat or a place to learn more about Kansas City’s history. Not only is the Streetcar a great way to make memories and explore Kansas City, it’s free!

Kansas City Northern Miniature Railroad

The Kansas City Northern Miniature Railroad operates seasonally on weekends and holidays from May-September in Frank Vaydik Park. The Kansas City Northern Railroad operates on a half mile oval track and maintains the Southern Belle – Kansas City Southern No. 31, the Line Creek Limited-Kansas City Northern No. 802, and The Eagle – Missouri Pacific No. 561.

Pioneer Trails Adventures

Take a trip back in time and travel by covered wagon as you explore the historic Independence square. Sights include the haunted jailhouse that held Jesse James’ big brother Frank, the location of Harry S Truman’s first job, and the court house.

Belton, Grandview and Kansas City Railroad

Board our 1920's era passenger coach, or our open-air excursion car and take a ride behind our 1950's Diesel locomotive through Old Towne Belton, Missouri, and the surrounding area.
