How It's Made

Hallmark Visitors Center

Discover how a teenager from Nebraska tucked two shoeboxes of postcards under his arms and set out to create an iconic company in Kansas City. More than 100 years later, our billion-dollar brand contains a diverse portfolio of businesses. From our timeline walking visitors through Hallmark’s humble beginnings, to famous collaborations with U.S. presidents, world leaders, and famous artists, to samples of our current products customers have grown to love, come visit us and be immersed in the world of Hallmark at our Visitors Center. With the push of a button, you’ll watch our bow machine create a star-shaped bow you can take home as a souvenir. Then stop by Hallmark's Kaleidoscope next door and unleash your inner artist!

Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank

Visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Money Museum; a billion dollar experience! The Money Museum offers guests the opportunity to watch millions of dollars in currency be processed, lift a gold bar worth nearly $400,000 and enjoy fun, interactive exhibits while learning about the economy. Plus, you can leave with a free bag of (shredded) money!

Moon Marble

Find your Marbles at the Moon! They have made wooden toys and game boards for many years, but have also wanted marbles that they had as children like Bumble-Bees, Cubscouts, Puries, and so on. In 1997 this "need" led to the opening of the Moon Marble Company store. The store is located near the intersection of K-32 & Hwy 7 in Bonner Springs, KS. While you’re here you can watch a marble making demonstration any day in the summer and find toys and games that make perfect gifts!

Chips Chocolate

This is where Kansas City's very own Kansas City Fudge was developed in 1983, and where it's still made today in over 40 flavors, fresh by hand with the highest quality ingredients and excitement, right before your eyes! Visit them today to watch (and smell!) as they create unbelievably delicious treats, right in front of you! It’s a great place to spend an afternoon and see a real live chocolate factory at work!
