Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead

With nearly 200 animals and birds of prey, vegetable and flower gardens, a one-room schoolhouse, an old-time fishing pond, pony rides and much more, the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a 12 acre educational farm environment filled with fun and adventure. Admission is free after 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; otherwise $2 per person.

Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank

Lakeside Nature Center, located in Swope Park, allows visitors to explore local wildlife and contribute to community conservation projects. Legler Barn Museum

Originally built in 1864 along the Santa Fe Trail at the corner of 95th and Quivira in Lenexa, this stone barn now resides in Sar-Ko-Par Trail Park as a testament to Lenexa’s history. The exhibit features many artifacts from the early prairie days to the expansion of Lenexa in the 20th century.
