More Zoo for you to explore with more than 200 acres of adventure filled with more than 1,700 animals. See penguins like never before at Helzberg Penguin Plaza. Watch king and gentoo penguins torpedo through the water in their 100,000 gallon cool pool and see the Humboldt penguins bask in the sun and get their flippers wet in the 25,000 gallon warm water pool. Dip your hands into a shallow pool and discover the unique texture of stingrays and bamboo sharks at Stingray Bay. Journey to the Polar Bear Passage and marvel at our polar bears' beauty and strength. Swing into the Orangutan Canopy and get nose to nose with these orange apes. Take a walk-about through a mob of kangaroos. Get a birds-eye view of zebras, giraffes and rhinos on the African Sky Safari. Visit animals from the tropical rainforest, the African Savanna, the Australian Outback, the Asian mountainside, the north and south pole and everywhere in between.

Sea Life Aquarium

Step beneath the waves and prepare for a world of glittering scales, darting sharks, gliding stingrays and a curious octopus. And get ready to come face-to-fin with some of the most fascinating creatures.

Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead

Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun. Visit more than 250 animals and birds, learn about growing flowers and vegetables, experience a Kanza Indian encampment or a one-room school house, and take a stroll through main street to the fishing pond.

Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area

At Burr Oak Woods Nature Center, visitors can enjoy family-friendly expeditions, conservation area trails, bird watching and other natural habitat oriented activities.

Cedar Cove Feline Sanctuary

Cedar Cove is a non-profit sanctaury and educational center comitted to the care and preservation of endangered predator species while educating the public on the importance of preserving their natural ecosystems and the impending dangers of their extinction.

Lakeside Nature Center

Wildlife education programs for all ages with live animals. Nature Center is free, has a hiking trail, picnic pavilion and native Missouri wildlife exhibit.

Ernie Miller Nature Center

Discover more about the park's plants, animals and history by visiting the center's new exhibit gallery featuring live animal displays and interactive exhibits, visit the 500-gallon aquarium showcasing native stream fish, stop by the wildlife viewing room that overlooks a water feature with birdfeeders, and visit the gift shop for nature enthusiasts.
